About Us

Our History

The North Acres Baptist Church was organized in 1953 as Southside Baptist Church.  Upon our move to our present location September, 1994, we changed our name.  We have had a great past.  We thank God for all of the opportunities He has placed before us in those years.

We believe, however, that the greatest opportunity and certainly the greatest challenge we have ever faced, is before us now.  We believe that the best time to be in service for God is now.

We are an independent autonomous local New Testament Baptist Church that voluntarily affiliates with the Southern Baptist Convention, the Louisiana Baptist Convention and the Webster-Claiborne Baptist Association.

Our Mission & Vision

The mission of North Acres is to love God, to love others, and to magnify the name of Jesus Christ. The vision of our church is to glorify our Savior, Jesus Christ by making true disciples who reach others with the grace of Jesus.

Leadership Team:

Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry.
