Children's Ministry
North Acres values Children. We want your child to grow up loving church and wanting to be here. It is our desire that Sunday be your childs favorite day of the week. Because of this we offer some great childrens programming.
1. Sunday School
These classes provide a balanced approach to central Bible concepts, essential Bible skills, and foundational Bible stories for children. The children’s classrooms are in “North Hall” in the Education Building. The preschool classrooms are in the main hall of the worship center. They start at 9:00 a.m. each Sunday.
2. Worship
Kidz Church meets Sunday Mornings. This high energy time of worship is designed to help kids k-6th worship God at their level. Music, scripture memory, games, team competition, and a strong Bible based curriculum are used to emphasize strong bibilical teaching and the shaping of a christian worldview. Your kids will leave begging you to bring them back!! The cool thing is they are learning BIG time things about God and who He is!!!
3. Preschool Ministry
The goal of the preschool ministry at North Acres is to help parents lay a firm foundation so their children will, when they become older, come to know Jesus as their personal savior. We do this by providing a caring, safe environment where children feel loved and welcomed. Play is how preschoolers learn. Our dedicated teachers and volunteers treat each child special and use developmentally appropriate teaching material and environment for each age group, babies- K. The use of learning centers (blocks, art, home living, manipulates, books, and nature) to enhance our teaching of God’s Word makes learning fun. We provide teaching care during all worship services for Babies – 4 years old.

5. VBS
Vacation Bible School is a special week each Summer spent in high energy activities for children. This includes worship, Bible study, music, missions, crafts, snacks, and recreation all tied together to show kids about what God has done for us. This is a fantastic time held in June.
6. Special Events
These events includes our annual “Easter Eggstravangza,” “Fall Festival,” and “Birthday Party for Jesus.” These are fun times built around the holidays. Other events and trips are held throughout the year.
